WILLIAMSON — All contemporary bluegrass music fans are encouraged to attend a concert planned for this Thursday, Oct. 18, at the Rose G. Smith Theater in Williamson that will feature a Maryland band that has traveled the country, performing for large audiences each time they take the stage.

The progressive bluegrass band, “The Seldom Scene”, began performing together in 1971, hailing from the town of Bethesda, Maryland.
