BRUNO, W.Va. — Deborah Ann “Debbie” Carter Brown, 54, of Bruno, went to be with the Lord Friday, September 28, 2012, from her home after a sudden illness.
Born March 6, 1958, at Man, she was a daughter of James E. Carter of Bruno and the late Opal Mae Walls Carter. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Linze Brown; one son, James “Jamey” Brown; and her daughter-in-law, Nikki Brown.
Debbie was a homemaker and was of the Church of God faith. A founding member of the Bruno Crime Watch, she was very active in keeping her community safe. She enjoyed staying in contact with her online friends and was a wonderful mother, daughter, and friend.
Additionally, those left to cherish her memory include her fiancé, Teddy Robinette of Bruno; one son, Billy Brown of Bruno; her grandfather, James Carter of Lindside; three grandchildren, Caleb, Gage, and Aeden White of Spruce Laurel and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 2, at the Pathway Church of God at Christian with Rev. Harrison Williamson and Rev. Wesley Browning officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.
Visitation will begin one hour prior to services Tuesday at the church.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Honorary pallbearers will be Caleb, Gage and Aeden White.
