CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Mrs. Frances Tallarico Hager, 84, of Charleston, was born January 28, 1928, at Lorado, a daughter of the late Dominick Nicola and Josephine Pecora Tallarico. She departed this life Sunday, September 30, 2012, at Valley Health in Charleston.
Mrs. Hager was a Healthcare Provider and Administrator at the Columbus State School for the Mentally Challenged and a member of the St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church in Kanawha City. She was a loving, giving “Mother” to everyone, beginning at an early age; she took care of her siblings, her father and later in her profession she cared for those in need. She continued to care for family members all her life and was loved dearly by all who had the privilege to meet her.
Also preceding her in death was her husband, Roy Hager, on August 26, 2009; two brothers, Tony Tallarico Sr. and Joseph Tallarico, and sister, Louise T. Chandler.
Survivors include a sister, Madeline (Charles) Dixon of Ormond Beach, Fla.; brother, Ralph (Frances) Tallarico of Columbus, Ohio, and many loving nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 6, at the St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church in Kanawha City with Father Chris Turner officiating. Burial and Graveside Services will follow at 3 p.m. at Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.
Visitation will begin one hour prior to services Saturday at the church.
Evans Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Chapmanville is serving the Hager family.
