The Tug Valley Road Runners Club (TVRRC) will sponsor another 5-K race on Saturday, October 27, starting at 10 a.m. The race will start at 201 Central Ave. in South Williamson, Ky.
This will be a Halloween themed race. More details will be released at a later date. The course map is on-line. The registration fee is $15 for Adults and $10 for kids.
It is the same course that was ran in July and August. The course map can be found on-line. Registration fee is $15 for adults and $10 for kids at David Hatfield’s house. “Dress your best for this Halloween Race,” says Alexis Batausa of the TVRRC.
“All of us will walk down from David’s house to the starting line of the course on the South Williamson flood wall,” Batausa said. “From there, you’ll see the starting line already been painted since the last 5K in August. We will run/walk down the flood wall, through the door, past the playground/park, past David Hatfield’s house, up the sidewalk, and up the bridge into old 52, West Williamson.
You won’t get lost at all especially running up and around the cemetery loop and back down to finish at David’s house. Can’t miss the finish line at all! There will be blue arrows and mile markers marking the course. Tough course but it’ll be real fun especially Halloween theme. A night race would be ideal but safety, of course.”
