Linda Turner, 61, of Hazard, died Monday, Oct. 22 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.


She was a retired loan assistant from the Small Business Administration, and the daughter of the late Beckham Caudill and the late Martha Jent Caudill. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Pauline Smith, and brother Frank Caudill.


She is survived by her husband, William Turner; daughter Kimberly Combs and husband Derek of Hazard; Jeffrey Turner of Little Leatherwood, and Jonathan Turner and wife Mary Anne of Lexington; sisters Mary Caudill of Pikeville, Leigh Hand of Alabama, and Geri Gunderson of Tennessee; grandchildren Destiny Turner, Kylie Combs, Kennedy Combs, Colton Combs, and Ellie Turner, along with a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.


Arrangements were handled by Maggard Mountain View Chapel of Hazard, where the services were held on Thursday, Oct. 25 with Densmore Goodson officiating.
