Don Ray Langdon, 67, died Sunday, Dec. 23 at the Hazard ARH medical center.
He was was born on October 10, 1945 in Leslie County, the son of Albert Langdon and Thelma Morgan in Leslie County, and was preceded in death by his wife, Imogene Langdon; sisters Velma Roberts and Kim Langdon; and great-grandchild Caleb Combs.
He is survived by his parents, Albert Langdon of Krypton and Thelma Morgan of Confluence; sons Asa Langdon and wife Kim of Yerkes, and Clellon Ray Langdon and wife Arlene of Hazard; daughter Ella Mae Langdon and husband Fred of Hazard; brothers Dale Langdon and wife Sally of Yerkes, Stanley Langdon and wife Rose, Glenn Langdon of Krypton, and Jeff Langdon of Krypton; sisters Louise Carol Brown and husband Cleveland of Michigan, Sherry Vickie Holman and husband Roy of Indiana, and Debbie Howard and husband Leihman of Wooton; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, Dec. 25 at 1 p.m. with Billy Vanover and Denver Couch officiating at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home of Hazard. The family will receive friends for visitation between the hours of 6 and 9 p.m. on Monday evening. Burial will take place at the Couch Family Cemetery located at Pigeon Roost.
