Frankie Lou Holbrook, 63, died Saturday, Jan. 5 at the Hazard ARH medical center.
She was born Jan. 7, 1950 in Alais, the daughter of the late Tommy Herald and the late Sarah Turner Herald. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Herman Holbrook, and four brothers. She was a life-long resident of Perry County and enjoyed playing Bingo.
She is survived by her son, Jeremy Holbrook and wife Nichole of Hazard; sister Pollie Hall of Hazard; grandchildren Destini Holbrook and Cameron Holbrook; sister-in-law Dora Herald of Annville, Ky.; special friend Donald Marcum; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, Jan. 8 at Noon at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home of Hazard with Rev. Buddy Turner officiating. The interment will follow in the Turner Cemetery at Turner’s Creek in Breathitt County. The visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Monday evening from 6 to 9 p.m.
