Get out the brooms.

It was a sweep.

The Logan-based Cheeriffic All-Star cheerleaders took four squads to last weekend’s Jamfest U.S. Cheer Super Nationals in Indianapolis, Ind.

Cheeriffic went 4-for-4 as all four squads ended up winning division championships, advancing to the Jamfest Nationals, which will also be held in Indianapolis, April 13-14.

Three Cheeriffic squads had already qualified for the Universal Cheer Association (UCA) Nationals, scheduled for March 9-10 at the Walt Disney World Resort’s ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Fla. Cheeriffic had made it to the UCA Nationals by qualifying at the Smoky Mountain Christmas Championships in Sevierville, Tenn.

The Cheeriffic All-Stars are coached by Heather Bryant and Brittney Hartman. The team practices out of the Flip-N-Twist Gym in downtown Logan.

Hartman said she was pleasantly surprised by all four teams taking first-place performances in Indiana.

“I never imagined in my wildest dreams that all of our teams would be presented with these great accomplishments. They performed better than they ever have before and I could not be any more proud of them,” she said.

Bryant said the four squads have been blessed to make it this far and to make it to two national youth cheerleading tournaments.

“This is truly a blessing from God,” Bryant said. “Our motto is, ‘I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.’ Our team was greatly blessed with these wins.”

At last weekend’s event in Indianapolis, the Cheeriffic Tiny Cheer squad took first place in an eight-team division.

The Cheeriffic team also took first place in the Small Youth Level 3 division with 85.50 points. The squad beat out the second-place team — the Mystiq Jewels All-Star Diamonds of Columbus, Ohio — which registered a 84.07 score.

The Jamfest Cheer Super Nationals are one of the largest youth cheer competitions in the country and attracted more than 100 squads from all over the United States and two from Ontario, Canada.

The Cheeriffic All-Stars were the only squad from the state of West Virginia.

Teams came from such places as: Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, Pennsylvania, Missouri, Alabama, Florida, Washington D.C., Nebraska, Arkansas, North Carolina, Colorado, California, Minnesota, Tennessee and South Dakota.

If the news wasn’t good enough for the Cheeriffic teams over the weekend it just seemed to get even better and better.

Before leaving Indianapolis, the Cheeriffic Minis and Youth Level 2 teams were two of 15 teams picked as winners of full paid bids to the Jamfest U.S. finals in April.
