Early last week, the Perry County Central Commodores traveled to Knox County to take on the Panthers. The Commodores jumped out to the early lead, and coasted to the 60-46 win.
The Commodores came out strong, and more than doubled up on the Panthers in the first period (15-6). Perry Central continued to outpace Knox County in the second period, going into the locker room sitting atop a 30-14 advantage.
Knox County picked up the pace in the third quarter, and was able to play with Perry Central. Going into the final period, the Commodores were up 43-29. The Panthers were unable to break the Commodores hold on the lead in the fourth quarter, and Perry Central came away with the 60-46 win.
