SOMERSET – TOUR Southern and Eastern Kentucky will host the seventh annual Appalachian Craft Fair June 22. The event will be held 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at The Center for Rural Development in Somerset. Admission is free to the public.

This is a unique opportunity to find high-quality, handmade arts and crafts from this region in one location. “It is important for our regional artisans to have the opportunity to display and sell their work,” said Jeff Crowe, TOUR SEKY President/CEO. “The Appalachian Craft Fair provides exhibitors with the opportunity to promote their work and to network with other regional artisans.”

The fair is open to all juried Kentucky crafters and exhibitor slots are still available. The Appalachian Craft Fair Exhibitor and Demonstrator application is available at tourseky.com in the downloadable forms section of the homepage. For more information contact Maggie Bill at 606-677-6093 or mbill@tourseky.com. Non-juried artisans interested in participating should contact the TOUR SEKY office.

TOUR SEKY is an award winning initiative of Congressman Hal Rogers. The organization’s mission is to educate, expand, develop and market the existing and potential tourism industry throughout southern and eastern Kentucky, while contributing to the economic, cultural growth, health and awareness, and overall quality of life of the region.
