Wanda was of the Freewill Baptist faith and lived her life loving the Lord and continuously showing that love to her family.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 47 years, Charles Mangus; two sons, Charles (Mary Ann) Mangus and Kieth Mangus, and daughter, Sherry Mangus Workman, all of Harts; six grandchildren, Michele and Leann Mangus and Patterson and Sada Workman, all of Harts, and Ruben Mangus and Marissa (Tim) Baisden of Logan; two great-grandchildren, Carter Lee Mangus and Brayden Dale Baisden; brothers and sisters, Evelyn (Alvie) Watts, Parsie (Paul) Frye and Haskel (Linda) Fugate, all of Harts, Marie (Joe) Thompson and Juanita Bryant (Thomas Ford), both of Tennessee, and Chester (Carolyn) Fugate of Ohio, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

The family would like to thank Dignity Hospice of Chapmanville for all their support and care that they provided to the family during this time. The family would also like to send a special thanks to one of her caregivers, Billie Wallace-Workman, for not only the care she provided to Wanda, but the comfort and friendship that she gave the family as well.

At Wanda’s request, she will be cremated and there will be no funeral services. A memorial service will be scheduled for a later date.

Evans Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Chapmanville is serving the Mangus family with Wanda’s final arrangements.
