The 2013 Great Easter Egg Hunt is down to its final weekend, with the final scheduled clue appearing in today’s paper.
As the race to find the egg continues to heat up, The Floyd County Times would like to remind all participants that the prize egg, as always, is hidden in a public spot and is not on private property. The Times has received reports of some hunters venturing into peoples’ yards with shovels or trying to get into private buildings.
The first person who returns the egg to The Times office in Prestonsburg will win $500. In the event no one returns the egg by next Monday, another clue as to its location will appear in next Wednesday’s paper and will be available at sponsor locations next Tuesday.
