On Saturday, the Perry County Central Commodores traveled to Prestonsburg to take on the Blackcats. The Commodores started out well, but faltered down the stretch and eventually gave up the win.

Perry Central scored a single run in each of the first three frames to take the 3-0 lead. Prestonsburg got their first run in the bottom of the third to bring the score to 3-1.

By the time the fifth inning ended, the Blackcats were on top 8-3. The two teams swapped runs in the sixth inning (9-4), and when the Commodores could not rally in the seventh, Prestonsburg took the 9-4 win.
