SITA - The Ray Cook-promoted Spring Nationals Series will roll on through the month of April with the first tripleheader weekend of the tour for rounds 5, 6 and 7 of the 10-race mini-series.


On Thursday night, the series will make a stop at 201 Speedway in Sitka for a 40-lap, $4,000-to-win/$400 to start event. The Open Wheel Modifieds and Bombers will be the supporting divisions Thursday night. The gates will open at 3 p.m. with driver’s meeting at 6:30 pm then Hot Laps will follow shortly after. Adult general admission is $20 and pit passes are $35.


arrod Breeding, a racer and native of Isom, purchased the track last year and has revived the three-eighths-mile track for 2013, the track’s 30th season of competition.


The series is also scheduled to visit Ponderosa Speedway (Friday) and Cleveland Speedway (Saturday) later in the week.
