The Logan Middle School softball team continued its hot streak with Saturday’s 10-0 win at Ravenswood.


The game was called in the sixth inning due to the mercy rule.


The Lady Wolves’ Stephanie Curry pitched the whole game as she struck out 14.


Lexi Hines and Kelsey Ward had two hits each for LMS. Alison Click, Chelsea Napier and Stephanie Eplin had one hit apiece.


Logan plated four runs in the top of the third, three in the fifth and three in the sixth.


Click started off the third inning with a single to center field. Hines followed with a triple to left field to drive in Click. Ward got on with an error which scored Hines. Napier walked and Eplin knocked in a run with an RBI single. Napier later stole home which made it 4-0.


In the fifth inning, Hines tripled to begin the inning. Curry walked and Ward then crushed one over the center fielder’s head to score both runners to make it 6-0. Ward then scored on an error as Logan led 7-0.


In the sixth inning Hines got on with an error and Ward smashed one over center field fence for a two-run homer to make it 9-0. LMS tacked on one more run with a hit by pitch with bases loaded.


The Lady Wolves’ JV team scored a 1-0 win over Ravenswood.


Jaycee Abbott pitched the win as she fanned 10.


LMS was scheduled to host Man on Monday. The Lady Wolves host Oceana on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. and go to the Chapmanville torney on Saturday at the CMS Softball Complex.
