Julian man killed in car crash

DANVILLE A Julian man died after his car crashed into the back of a tractor trailer, according to investigators with the Boone County Sheriffs Department.
David Fraker, 27, of Julian, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident that happened around 9:30 p.m., Tuesday night, April 23, 2013.
Fraker was driving a four door sedan in the northbound lanes of U.S. 119 (Corridor G), near Danville, investigators said, when his vehicle hit the read end of the semi-truck and then rolled over several times.
Sheriff Randall White says Fraker may have been under the influence of prescription medication at the time of the crash.
The driver of the tractor trailer was not hurt.
The road was shut down for several hours while crews investigated the crash. It is now back open, official reported.
