LOGAN, W.Va. — Mrs. Vira Kay Kitchen Perry, 62, of Logan, was born February 18, 1951, at Logan, a daughter of the late Leonard and Pearl Johnson Kitchen. She departed this life Monday, June 3, 2013, at the Logan Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Perry was a homemaker and member of the Faith Independent Baptist Church.

Also preceding her in death were her brothers, Leonard Jr., Andrew Jack, Neil, Charles, Willard, Scott and Edward Kitchen, and sisters, Bertha Chapman, Madonna Philpott and Sue Hairfield.

Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Douglas F. Perry; sister, Dolly Stratton of Stuart, Va.; brother, Jackie Kitchen of Martinsville, Va.; daughter, Leslie Perry (Geoff) Noe of McConnell; son, Douglas F. (Tricia) Perry II of Charleston; two beautiful grandchildren, Taylor and Sarah Noe, and several nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Graveside services and burial will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 5, at Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill with Pastor Mike Rose officiating.

There will be no visitation.

Evans Funeral Home and Cremation Services at Chapmanville is serving the Perry family.
