WILLIAMSON, W.Va. — Mary Magdalene Jarrell, 80, of Williamson, formerly of Wharncliffe, departed this life Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at Salem Hill, Ky.

Born January 31, 1933, at Spring Fork in Mingo County, she was a daughter of the late Judge and Nancy Jane Mounts Mullins. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Holly Stanley; one son, Gerry Stanley; four brothers and one sister.

Mary was a homemaker.

Those left to cherish her memories include one daughter, Nancy Carol Oquin (Pruitt) Scott of South Williamson; one half–sister, Opal Hill of Shady Woods; two grandsons, Jeffery Scott (Mary) Stanley of Michigan, and Billy Wayne (Yevetta) Donley Jr. of Kentucky; four granddaughters, Jeanette Stanley and Leslie Stanley (Bobby) Woods, both of Michigan, and Marianna (Kevin) Elkins and Krista Jolene Donley, both of Goody, Ky., and 18 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 30, at Wharncliffe Church of God with Brother Denny May and Assistant Pastor Scott Gulf officiating. Burial will follow in Glandon Cemetery at Baisden.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Saturday at the church.
