HAMLIN – Tri River Transit is announcing the Annual “Christmas in the Park” Bus Trip again this year.

“Christmas in the Park” is a sure way to get into the holiday spirit. Beautiful displays of lights, some of which are animated, can be viewed by all. Visitors will be amazed at the reindeer jumping over cars, the Jack-in-the-Box popping out, the hole in one golfer and the carousel horses, just to name a few. A lighted display of the American Flag shows the pride of Logan County in our nation.

“We are pleased to offer this service again this year,” said Paula Smith, TriRiver Transit Executive Director.

Tri-River Transit Authority is providing opportunities to see the beautiful light displays at Chief Logan State Park on the following Saturdays: Dec. 1, Dec. 8, Dec. 15, and Dec. 22.

Pick up locations: White’s Plaza Logan Park in Ride, Hamlin, Logan and Lincoln Plaza Magic Mart, West Hamlin, Danville.

The time of departure for the trip is 5 p.m. and the cost per person is $5 for a round trip. Reservations for seats must be made in advance. Call Tri-River Transit at 304-824-2944 no later than the Thursday before the Saturday planned for the trip.
