The Logan County Public Service District has issued two new boil water advisories and lifted a previous advisory.
Customers of the LCPSD in the areas of Garrett Fork, Crawley Creek, Chapmanville, Sunset Court and Ridgeview and customers in the area of Madison Creek were all placed under a boil water advisory on August 6.
Customers are urged to boil their water for one minute and let cool before using. Or use bottled water.
Residents of Rocky Branch, Caney Branch, Pigeon Roost, North Mitchell Heights, Phico, Godby, Godby Branch, Wheatley Branch, Crooked Creek, Perry Branch, Lake Branch, Trace Fork, North Fork to Big Ugly and Big Creek and Harts Creek were told on August 2, 2013, to boil their water due to an interruption in service.
The problem has been corrected and it is no longer necessary to boil the water.
Please share this information with all the other people who are customers in these areas, especially those who may not have received the notice directly.
